On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, booze. Slick body, candi sugar, vanilla, licorice, raisin, boozy finish, very nice.
Bottle @ Fermentoren, had a glass thanks to some guy in the bar, haha. Pours very cloudy muddy dark brown with a thick offwhite head. Aromas of caramel, dates, barley, some hops, slight licorice. Taste is pretty roasty and caramel malty up front, some hops and slight licorice, vanilla, dates, coffee, subtle orange peel.
Bottle. Color: Reddish copper, off-white to beige head. Aroma: Sweet, caramel, dark fruit, toffee. Taste: Sweet toffee, caramel, dark fruit and hints of red fruit, hints of vanilla. Medium to over medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitter. On the sweet side, nice.
Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Vinous, raisinny aroma with plums. Flowery and earthy hops. Porto flavor with raisin, alcohol, a firm flowery and earthy hoppiness, tannines and blackcurrant. Firm earthy hopbitter aftertaste, with pepper. All that and more in a beer oozing with flavors and aromas. Nice one!

750ml bottle. Pours brown orange. Caramel, biscuit, strawberry, orange, grapefruit, pepper. Good full body. Very nice.
Mahogany brown colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour are packed full of sweet malts and sweet dried fruits. Lots of sherry notes. Light bitterness in the finish rounds it off well.
Czuc chmiel po 3 latach :) poza tym goryczkowe, slodkie, prlne, lepkie landrynki?
Bottled 1/23/14. Very nice! Malty, some hops, good balance. Thick and flavorful. Almost woody notes. Mellowed nicely.
Bottle from Ale Arsenal. Hazy, copper pour with bubbly ring of beige head. Caramel on the aroma, bready malts. Taste amplifies the caramel, mildly sweet, strong too. Fruitcake, raisins and molasses. Dries out a bit in the finish. I’ll be feeling this tomorrow.
