Bottle from Busch's. Pours a deep brown to black with a tan head that dissipates. Big coffee aromas with fudge brownie and chocolate as it warms. Some light bourbon also comes out as it warms. More of the same on the palate with warming bourbon, coffee and milk chocolate notes. Warming boubon notes lingers on the palate. Body is a bit thin, but all the flavors are there. Still a pretty solid beer even as it is year-round now.
Sampled from tap in 2020. Pours black, small white head. Smell is intense coffee, mild bourbon. Taste is sharp, thin, coffee, roasty, boozy. Still, not a big fan of this one.
