Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As Three Floyds Blot Out the Sun ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, spicy, peppery - black pepper. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, black pepper, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, medium dry, roasted - chocolate, malt and hop bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20180414] 8-4-9-4-17
Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Black, beige head. Aroma has roast, alc, strong piney hops, pepper. Flavour is quite hopy, piney. Then comes some licorice and coffee. Warming, slightly boozy alc. No nosense, straightforward and strong impy. Very nice.
Thanks Huhzubendah for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing taster showing pitch black with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose is earthy and hoppy. The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of hoppy forwardness. Hoppy bitterness.
Draft at RB Best Fest: Poured a black with tan head. Aroma is very boozy and roast. Taste is boozy, roasty malts, vanilla.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, roast, malts, caramel and chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. This is really a black IPA, not an imperial stout. Decent though!
Bottle from Mikkeller web shop. Very dark brown color with thick beige head. Dark malt, citrus hops in aroma. Very nice citrus hoppy taste with dark chocolate, coffee, :roasted malt. Very tasty.
