--Cask at Queen's Head, Stockholm. -- Clear bronze colour, mid sized head. Bready, mildly spicy nose. Mid sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt. Mild leafy, spicy hops. Mid bitter finish. On the watery side.
Cask. Deep amber colouir with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some bread, mild herbs, grains and some slight toasted tones with a bit of wood as well. Flavour is wooden, mild caramel, some bready tones with mild herbal and earthy tones.
Cask at BeerHeadz. Deep brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma and taste are malty and light caramel slight bitter. Medium body.
Cask at the Ale Rooms, Knowle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, nutty, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A fine session bitter. Served a little too cold IMO.
Brown colour with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have punchy, bitter floral hop notes and rounded sweet malt sweetness. Very well balanced. Great example of the style.
440 ml can, from Bier Huis, Ossett. ABV is 3.8%. Gusher can, fortunately I opened it over the sink and not over my laptop. Copper colour, huge head, slightly off-white. Aroma of yeast, caramel and brown bread. Flavour of malts, caramel and brown bread. Not much to write home about.
44cl can from Craft & berry
Almost a gusher. thick white head. Hazy amber pour. My 1st disappointment from this brewery
440ml can from brewer. Pours cloudy brown, big frothy white head. Aroma of bread, yeast and a little spice. Taste is semi-sweet caramel, bread, nuts, spice, quite smooth. Moderate carbonation. Very good bitter.
Fra cask på Larkin’s Hull 24 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Veldig mørkebrun. Middels høyt kritthvitt stabilt skum. Beskjeden maltaroma. Smaken lett brent malt. Maltpreget forsterkes etter hvert.
Cask at Larkin’s Bar in Hull. Stable off-white head to a clear mahogany coloured body. Dusty hops and caramel smell. The flavour character is dominated by caramel, slightly roasted. Short-lived fruity bitterness on the swallow. Easy to drink. Food friendly (shared with Finn, 24.11.2015).
