Bottle at drie dorstige herten. Aroma of smoke, scotch, peat, fruity whisky, tarr and malt. Taste has fruity scotch, smoke, tarr, smooth peat, bitter chocolate malt and a long scotch forward finish. Delicious.

Bottle. Black. Licorice, caramel, vanilla and a hint of whisky in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and licorice. Upcoming Bowmore whisky.velvety smooth mouthfeel. Just a hint of peat. Well balanced.

Nice dark red to brown color, med s beige head. Smell and taste malts, raisins, sweetish dark fruit dried dark fruits pleasant nice malt bitter finish. Nice. 7-4-7-3-15.

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Boozy, sweet, Whiskey, peat, hints of dark chocolate. Taste: Medium to moderate sweet, molasses, very strong Bowmore BA notes, roasted malt, smoky / peaty notes, hints of dark coffee, toffee. Over medium to full body, soft carbonation. Bit medical, iodine finish. Ok, but there are better Bowmore BA beers.

15 van tap @BFGM18, zwart met bruine kraag. aroma van turf, koffie, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, smaken van koffie, geroosterd en gebrande mouten, maar bovenal is het zuur en het komt geïnfecteerd over. zo aan de eerdere ratings te zien heeft de tijd het bier geen goed gedaan.

Draught @ Winterbierfestival Gouda 2018. Pith black color. Frothy brown head. Aroma's: fruity, alcohol. Retronasal it's fruit, roast, funky, sweet'n'sour, acohol, iodine. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcohol-fruity. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Finishes with iodine,, roasty, moderate bitter. Not too great...

Draft at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Black with a brown head. Aroma of roast, oak, scotch, dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Black with big brown head. Looks nice! Smoke, peat, iodine, black chocolate, old oak, red wine, soft sour berries. Medium sweet, over medium bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with slick watery dry feel. Quite nice but the barrel is very strong here.
