MOKO MAUKAS (Mokas – a massive rolling stone. Maukas – a large gulp). This beer is a proof that a true Lithuanian beer really does exist: It‘s brewed with Lithuanian malt, Lithuanian hops, Lithuanian yeast, Lithuanian water. It’s also has been brewed by Lithuanians, of course. What makes it even more Lithuanian is the fact that the beer has been brewed in an ancient reconstructed way when the red-hot stones are taken directly from the bonfire and put strait to the wooden tub with malt. The caramelized malt adds a hint of sweetness to the taste as well as the glow of amber to the looks.
