Tap at the brewery (as Assemblage De Saisons). Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is fruity, citrus, pineapple, apricots. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: ok.

Straw blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a saison-like spicy yeastiness. Very clean and light but not very flavoursome.

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, day 2.

0,25l from tap at Moeder Lambic shared by me. Dark yellow, very milky color, small white head. Smells earthy, musty, grassy, leathery, spices. Bit weird smell. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes citric, earthy, berry notes, flowery, bit lactic, peppery, spices. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of lactose, spices and peppery notes. Very nice one, tastes more like an milkshake ipa, no barrel noticeable

Partially burgundy barrel aged saison, Ermitage in collaboration with Burnt Mill, tasted from tap at Dok Brewing Company following Ermitage's tap takeover there, thanks Jan for sharing. Membrane-lacing, snow white, creamy, medium thick head, misty yellowish straw blonde robe with peachy tinge. Aroma of fermenting plums, mead, pear juice, raw cauliflower, peach cake, white wine, gooseberry jam, some wet wood, lemon flesh, dough, cider. Sweet onset with sour edges, very fruity with notes of gooseberry, pineapple, yellow plum and green grapes, lively and even sharp carbonation, soft bready malt core dried by fruity and vinous tartness no doubt coming from the burgundy barrel, light wine accent in the finish indeed mixing with the beer's natural fruitiness and breadiness, light zesty hop notes as well but mellow in bitterness. Very elegant modern 'farmhouse' ale rather than classic saison, complex and up to date, lovely beer.
