Bottle from Delhaize; bottled: 6/2021. Hazy red, stable, frothy, pink head. Aroma of lots of sour cherries, old blue grape, blue plum, lemon, vinegar, musty leather, oak. Taste has very sour cherry, cherry skin, plum stone and lemon acid over a funky vinegary and sourdoughy base. Ends tart, mouth-puckering with dry cherry skin, musty grape, old plum and gentle woody tannins. Medium body, fluffy texture, average carbonation. Full fruity Lambic. Belgian excellence in a bottle, available in the local supermarket. What more do you want?

Cork and caged 37.5cl bottle; BB 27th Jun 2027. Bought years ago somewhere in Belgium. Drank at home on 15th Apr 2020 during the virus 'Lock In'. Nice red hue to the body, short lived head. Semi-sour cherries and a woody nature sums up this beer nicely.

Good pop upon opening. Lots of cherry still, some sweetness but mostly dry. Not that funky, just some general dust and cellar flavours. Lightly tart, some good carbonation. Needs more complexity, flavours are a bit flat now. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle at Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours a deep clear red with a thick pink white head. Aromas of some tart cherries, fruity sweetness, some yeast and some stale-like notes. Taste is pretty tart up front but a floral fruity sweetness takes over pretty fast. This is delicious! Finish is pretty tart and very dry. Slightly funky and yeasty. Long-lasting tart fruits in the back of the tongue. Yummy!

Bottle shared in 2019. Pours dark redpink, small white head. Smell is cherry, candy, intense, sweet-ish, yet not arteficially sweetened , nor sugar. Complex and aged. Taste is full, sweet and sour, dry, oaky, aged, beautifull cherry character. This is what you hope for when ageing beers !
