Bottle from Carrefour. Pours clear golden with a lasting, thick, frothy, white head. Aroma of unripe banana, yellow apple, grass, breadcrust, white pepper. Taste has sweet plain maltiness, bread, apple & pear accentuated by bitter straw & spices. Grassy hoppy finish, a bit spicy, low esters but they're there. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Easy drinker, that's about it.

Bottle from Taniguchi. Spicy, tart nose, grapefruit, lemon, some honey, yeasty spice. Deep gold with orange and a huge head. Crisp, hoppy flavor, bread, some biscuit and honey, grass, citrus, very bitter. Great. Reminds me of XX Bitter.
