Pours black, not much head. Smell is full, peppers, bourbon, wood. No oxidation at all, even though it's 6 years old and ment to drink fresh. Taste is full, creamy, peppers still very noticable. Mild oxidation, but it does work with the beer so isn't problematic just yet. Medium heat from the peppers, in perfect balance at this point in time, so I think it might have been a bit to spicy when fresh ? Recognizable bourbon and oak, still. Very nice, held up impressively well.
Bottle. Hnnng. This pours beeeaaautifully. Pitch black with a medium dark brown mocha head. Aromas of cocoa, dark sweet fruits, licorice, chili fruit sweetness, dark roast, cinnamon rolls, rye whiskey, coconut. Taste is cocoa, vanilla, raw licorice, cinnamon rolls, rye whiskey, bourbon sweetness, coconut, strong roast, dark chocolate. Finishes in a dry chocolate taste with a good amount of chili heat. God damn, this is good. Holy shit.

Bottle @ Himmeriget. Pours oily black with a creamy mocha head that leaves plenty of spotty trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty and spicy with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, luxurious dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, smoked chilis, fruity habanero, cinnamon, toasted coconut, minerals, peppery rye whiskey alcohol and buttery bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and slightly spicy. mouthfeel is soft, creamy, oily, tiny astringent, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter, rich and complex. The base beer is of course great and in this case the barrel treatment is just sublime. Prominent notes of both bourbon and rye whiskey without overtaking the rich and complex base beer just adding more and more layers of tasty complexity. Pretty close to perfection!
Bottle at the hotel lobby fart share @RBWG 2016. Thanks jackl! Opaque black liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, raw sugar, smoked chili, bourbon, vanilla and dried fruit. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, light chili, raw sugar and licorice. Full bodied with low carbonation. Solid. Good balance between the barrels.
2009 bottle @ Steve_0 during my 10k tick fest. Thanks to Bo Xhin and Armin! Pours a deep brown / black appearance with a dark brown head. The aroma has quite a bit of brownie batter, spice, vanilla, whiskey, vanilla, and cake. Really rich dark chocolate cake, fresh coconut, spicy, and caramel. No hint of booze. All dessert, chocolate cake flavor. This is awesome.
Bottle shared with Countbeer. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized dark brown colored head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, vanilla quite dominantly, lightly chocolate. Taste malts, chocolate, vanilla, whiskey, peppers, bourbon. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Quite intense.
Bottle - Sweet cinnamon, cocoa nibs and endless complexity. Deep jet black with a brown head. Light booze, cinnamon, spice bite and a rich dar chocolate finish. Very nice.
