Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a copper gold with no head. The aroma is strong banana, honey, bourbon. Slick body, banana cream, honey, oak, boozy, enjoyed this.
Shared at Affinity Brewery with Two Tribes and Jack from Anspatch and Hobday brewery...kind present from the brewery owner.
Bottle at share. Pips does it again, another Mead that tastes exactly like the name implies. Bananas and maple syrup, hell even the butter is evident in there. Sweet and sticky and tasty. Incredible!
Bottleshare @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Light orange pour. Flat. Nose has dried banana, some sweetness, liquor and maple syrup. Wow, pancakes! Taste has lots of umami, banana, feels dry and sweet. Taste is light and sweet, smooth and drinkable. Awesome.
clear amber color. Literally I don’t know how they get this nose, it’s literally sweet cinnamon banana pancakes in the nose. I have no idea how you can make this nose without doing anything artificial. It’s mesmerizing. The mouth is sweet but tons of pancakes bananas with cinnamon lingering in the finish. Full body. Smooth. Never too sweet or cloying. The cinnamon and bananas lingers. Off the chart
Thanks Justin for sharing the bottle! Poured into a teku showing translucent brown with no head. The nose shows pronounced notes of banana, pancake, walnuts, cream, and light honey. The palate is full bodied. Moderately sweet but balanced with perfect notes of banana, walnut, whipped cream and baking spice throughout. Fantastic.
