Tap at Kalahana. Clear gold with a tight head. Honey and bready malt nose, pine, spruce, herbs, grapes, light butter. Strangely soft in a weird but nice way on the palate. Resiny, lemony flavor, creamy, touch of cardboard and diacetyl but not too much. Cask-like in body.
On tap@El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. 04/08/2020 Color amarillo corona de espuma blanca aromas herbales, especiada, sabor especiado, cítricos, cuerpo medio.
RB backlog. A bit esthery, chive, spruce, dough. Medium sweet, a bit tart, mineralic, light bitterness that builds up. Small, hard carbonation on a medium body. Feels much more like a spicy Zwickel, not like a Pilsner.
Danke an herrklemann. Heller, süßlich herber Beginn. Milde Kräuternoten, mild malzig. Süffig, die Herbe rückt in den Hintergrund. Geringe Karbonisierung, spritziger kurzer Nachhall, süßlich. 8/8/9/7/11/8
Can from AEON Liquors, Jiyugaoka. Pours clear golden, yellow if you will. At first quite decent and thick foam top there, reduces with time into a think layer. Nose has malts, some honey character, feels crisp. Not getting these spruce tips for some reason. Taste is nice malty, some resiny-spicy edge to it, maybe I'm imagining it but spruce tips could be there. Quite decent and flavourful full-bodied pilsner. Not very complicated beer, meant for drinking.
0.33 l can from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Vran. Hazy straw, small white head. Fruity, berries, honey. Light citrus or pine. Fruity, grainy, dryness underneath. Crisp. Light body, soft carbonation, light finish.
