Really good very natural very qualities but it's on the dry side and the berries are a bit sweeter. Otherwise pretty good sour beer.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/26/2018. Pours hazy very dark ruby red/purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy blackberries, raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, plum, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light vanilla/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, blackberries, raspberries, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla notes; with great strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy blackberries, raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, plum, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light vanilla/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy blackberries, raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, plum, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light vanilla/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blackberries, raspberries, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, acidic/tangy, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.3%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited imperial kettle sour! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blackberries, raspberries, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestely acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Amazing balance of super jammy berries, Lacto complexity, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Can said they only used 30 grams of vanilla beans for 30BBL, but it was still somewhat noticeable.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a thick and viscous deep plum color with a small rose pink colored head that dissipates quickly. Big blackberry aromas with raspberry yogurt and plum notes. Thick and coating on the palate. Super viscous. Tart berry flavors with a yogurt-like finish. Lingering berry. Not beer, but great. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Gadget on 27 Jan 2019 at 00:52 - Score: 8

Bottle. Raspberry/blackberry, malt, and hay aroma. Purple amber with minimal head. Sweet-tart raspberry, light blackberry, biscuit malt, moderate sour vinegar, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Pleasant.
