Bottle. Orange peel, caramel malt, brown sugar. Clear copper with a moderate beige head, nice lacing. Grapefruit, sweet caramel malt, pine hops. Hops and malt are very nicely balanced. Medium body.
Bottle. Orange, caramel malt and pine aroma. Amber color with small head. Lightly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice hops.
Bottle. Clear, deep amber body. Short, fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Malty aroma with notes of bread and caramel. Hint of raw grain, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Lingering bitterness into the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Thick, raw grain taste against the resiny bitterness. A bit unclean and far from crisp. It could have used a little more carbonation. But it has a nice balance.
