Tap @ Drie Fonteinen Restaurant. Pours hazy dark orange, flat. Aromas of apple vinegar, orange, citrus, cheesy, apples, funky cellar. Taste has lots of sweet orange but mostly just apple vinegar, dusty funk, cheese, bitter, stable, grain.
Soft, not so sour, fruity, smooth, grapefruit gooseberry, aroma is pleasantly musty. Some woodiness further down. Great!
Tap @ Lambik-o-droom. Hazy orange. Oak, citrus and sulphur in the aroma. Moderately sour flavor with oak, grapefruit and honey. Sulphur. Just a hint of rest sweetness.
F: no real. C: deep gold and bit orange, hazy. A: brett, honey, bit barnyard, woody, fruity, citrus. T: brett, bit malty, fruity, bit barnyard, not very sour with light tannins, medium body, almost no carbonation, good, refreshing, sample 18 months old from tap @ 3 Fonteinen Open Beer Days September 2017.
Sampled at BXL. Hazy orange pour with a very thin off-white head. Notes of barnyard funk, grains, mineral funk. Smooth and round, really good.
Bxlbeerfest. Pours golden. Aroma is sour funky, fruits. Flavor is sour, funky, fruity. Flavor is sour, fruity, funky, some light sweetness. Overall: very good.
