Surprisingly towering head, very dense & fine, light yellow over foxy orange clear beer. Sharp fruity & farmyard nose, lactic acid, lemon, horseblanket, little bit of putteke , saddlesoap. Quite sharp - acid flavour, again fruity - unripe grapes f.i. - straw, wood, horseblanket. Finish has something fleeting as anise. The chunk in the armour of this one is a very lean body, not only because of acidthinning, but also from the composition of the beer itself; whilst the flavours diminish rapidly, and not I mals /I of course. Good carbonation. Maybe not the best of 3F, which still makes it just great.

Sampled multiple times before, but only took notes since brewver kept batches, so in 2020. Currently still for sale at 3F (drink in only) so enjoyed it at the source. Pours a very dark, unclear amberblonde. medium white head. Smell is full, funky, dry oak. Soft, gentle yet intense. Creamy. Taste is full, intense, wood, gentle tartness. Medium umami almost. Wet oak, softened carbonation. Mineral. Very nice, sure, but I had better batches of OG ( with about 5-7 years on it) than this one is specifically, at this point in time.
Bottle at Maakun’s, thanks 🙏 kermis! Hazy golden. Sour grains, massive oak, stonefruit and intense grapemost. Crushed candy sugar crystals and parmesan cheese sweat. Funky fruity with a sharp high pitched sour note, surrounded by deep oak, fruit and dust. Very lovely.
Fairly hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of beautiful 3F dry cellar funk, cobwebs, oak, citric notes and green apple. Flavour is moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
