Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is hazelnuts, cocoa, alcohol, liquorice and mild popcorn elements. Flavour is nutty, cocoa, alcohol, liquorice, hazelnuts, some toffee with some toasted tones. Alcohol is a bit too evident in the flavour, but otherwise really nice.

Bottle shared with Laura on this special day where PSV beat Ajax and pushed them down to last place in the competition. Better celebrate this as it's probably the last time ever we're witnessing this. Cheers! -- Opaque black color, virtually no head. Aroma is heavy hazelnut and some chocolate in the background. Flavor is hazelnut up front, malts and barrel aging after that, light cocoa / chocolate but then the hazelnut takes over again and dominates. Overall very sweet. A little less balanced than I had hoped, could definitely improve with a little less hazelnut and more bitterness but hey, on this special day I'm gonna enjoy it anyway! Cheers!

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 14/05/2022 [#5.000 Global - #712 United States of America - #6 Cycle Brewing] #5.000, we made it baby. Almost black pour with a beige head. Loaded with hazelnuts and pistacchio. Incredible hazelnut aroma. Taste is balanced bourbon and hazelnuts leading to a warm finish. Next one please!

Tap MBCC 2022 Red Session. Poured almost black with little life. The aroma is big hazelnuts and sweet chocolate. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, smooth, oily, liqourice, chocolate, light hazelnut, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Pours oily black, no head. Reeks of hazelnut syrup. Extremely sweet with viscous mouthfeel and full body. Butter and hazelnut syrup and mars bar. Mega sweet and mega cloying. The hazelnut syrup makes it totally unbearable. Undrinkable to downright revolting.

πŸ™ Maakun! Black/ small tan ring head. Massive roasted hazlenuts, Nutella, massive sweet and deep bitter. Full body, soft carb. Liquid hazelnut pastry cake, widescreen earthy nuttiness. Very dense and creamy. Excited like a little squirrel right now. 🌰🐿

Bottle shared. Black with small dark brown head. Massive roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, earthy roast, light bourbon, a touch of licorice, Nutella. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied. Typical Cycle style, not their best but pretty good.

0,66l from bottle at home shared by Sander, big thanks. black color, basically no head. smells hazelnuts, vanilla, cocoa nibs, hazelnuts get super dominate once this warms up. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of hazelnuts, vanilla, cocoa, nutty, bit fudgy, toasty, light oak. finishes lightly sweet with notes of hazelnuts, vanilla and some toasty notes. very nice one, very heavy on the hazelnuts (almost a bit one-dimensional) but overall very nice, gets rather boozy once it warms up. 8, 4, 9, 3, 17
