Shared with Hrabren, Ogi and DIna I reckon. Hazy golden body, white head. Elderflower notes with light funk, simplistic really. Lean, tart taste with sweetish, soft elderflower touches, pleasant funk / tartness. Again, simple but likable.
Bottle shared. Thanks Brad & Jenna. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of white foam that lingers. Lovely botanical, floral aromas with mineral, gooseberry and mild oak aromas. More of the same on the palate. Quite floral with some bitter petal and stem notes. Dry finish with more mineral, dried honey and floral flavors.
0.75 l bottle from 'Belgiuminabox.com', bottled in September 2015, cellared for over four years. Clear, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, quite herbal and gently funky aroma of quite some elderflower, overripe lemon, wood and horse blanket. Quite sour, rather herbal, gently funky and slightly fruity taste of overripe lemon, lots of elderflower, wood, horse blanket and some yoghurt, followed by a medium long, rather tart, woody-dry, funky and fairly herbal finish. Medium body, quite astringent, spritzy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. The elderflower doesn't match that well with the lambic, it's fairly harsh and disharmonious, quite disappointing since I usually like elderflower a lot.
Bottle @ Dangerous Bottleshares ft. Aaron from Oregon 5.0. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of elderflower, sulfur, funky, floral, green apples. Taste is elderflower, green apples, funky, moldy.
75CL burnt orange. Small head. Didn’t find any yeast in the bottle. Lemon, sourdough, crackers and lime. Good mouthfeel. Has a little mold and blue cheese flavor. Lemon lime. Flat 7up. Tasty but not grea
Corked Bottle. Deep golden color. Elderflowers, citrus and oak in the aroma. Sour, lemony flavor, floral with vanilla. Some remaining sweetness. Fairly Low on carbon. Oak finish. Nice.
