Sample draft @ BBP, Kaapse Brouwers event. Acajou, col fin beige.

Sampled draft @ Brussels Beer Project. Dark amber syrup with little head. Nose is massive cough syrup coated in red wine, low herbal & some molasses. Taste is massive cough syrup mixed with massive red wine, sweet sugar, red berries. Thick syrup, low carbonation. Basically akin to alcoholic cough syrup some wine, not bad really but not really my cup of tea either. Interesting I suppose.

On tap at Kaapse Brouwers. Brown color with beige head. Cherries, wood, coffee, a little bit funk. Taste is coffee, fruit tartness, slightly astringent, balsamico, apples, nice coffee and sourish finish. Awesome. Just a hint too light for the 11 ABV, but maybe that?s because I had Lennie before.
