Tap at Craft. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, roast and mint. Taste ramps up the mint quite a bit. Like a liquid after eight. After you get used to the mint the chocolate comes back a little and it's sweet and malty. But it's all about the mint. I quite like it. Finish is very malty, barley and caramel. Very smooth and easy drinking.

[ As Thornbridge Baize ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, mint. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, mint, chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150810] 7-4-8-3-14

Draught @ Belge, Helsinki. Poured mahogany color with a thin white head. Aroma has mint, vanilla, dough, pulla. Vanilla bun, chocolate and mint. Pleasant.

Sampled from cask @ Thornbridge Pub Den Bosch. Dark brown to black color, small brown head. Smell and taste are indeed mint, pretty watery and thin with slight stout hints. Don’t like it, not my thing at all.

Cask at Clerkenwell. Black, shiny, with lace. Nose of cocoa, some mocha coffee. Creamy, slightly mint. Mont comes out more in the flavor, nice level of sweetness, bitter, roasty finish.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is dark chocolate mint. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a big chocolate, crushed After Eight malt light coffee palate. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Craft, Covent Garden. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, toffee, mint. Total after eights! Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask @ Sheffield Tap. Pours pitch black with beige head. Smooth mint chocolate ice cream, well-blended and not too dominant, alongside roasted malts and dark chocolate shavings. Very nice indeed. Wish I had a slice of Vienetta to go with this!
