Though it's name is derived from the early French explorers who first charted Wisconsin waters, La Du Bay is a right and proper English Style IPA. Liberally bittered using fine English hops to complement its prominent malt characteristics. An ideal beer to transition your palette from slumber to spring.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Draught @ Waterfront Ale House. Reddish dark amber with medium sized creamy beige head, slight caramel aroma, low carbonation, slightly hoppy bitter caramel taste, abrupt finish with bitter aftertaste. I did not really taste the hops much, more like an ESB.
