Veel lekkerheid
Clear dark brown, small beige head. Aroma has dark sugar, dried fruit, light yeast. Sweet flavour, brown sugar, caramel, fruity notes.
Grunt fill from Albertsons. Right from the start, this a gorgeous beer. Ruddy brown with small cap of beige head. Fruity, sugary aroma wafts up, sweet. Taste follows with figs and raisins, prunes, and molasses. Just plain exquisite and smooth.
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Shared with Anke. 2017 edition.
Pours hazy dark brown with a big, foamy, lasting, tan head. Intense aroma of raisin, plums, candied fruits, figs, yeast, caramel, (light roasted) malt, spices, liqueur and brown sugar. It tastes medium to heavy sweet with hints of licorice, dark fruits and syrup, then light hoppy and spicy bitter; sweetish and herbal finish, with warming (whisky or wine) alcohol. Full body, slick/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Complex and extremely tasty. A delight!
Magnum into a goblet showing amber brown with a finger of tanned white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of sweet malts. The palate is medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Very sweet with light notes of nuts and fig.
