Blend 83 bottled 6/19. Murky red, no head. Brooding sour cherry aroma with almonds, some lemon. Pretty much flat but has a kefir-like plumpness to the texture. Tastes pretty much as it smells with some wood creeping up towards the end. The richness of the cherries goes pretty well with the sourness that's presumably partly the cherries and partly the lambic. A little more magisterial than the oude kriek.
2016. Tasty redhead, yumyum. Rich dark cherries, massive. Sweet, marzipan, smooth soft sourness. So fruity. Ridiculous.
Dark red purple with an off white head. Aroma of rich cherry with a nice funk. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
