Also a great batch hehe love it yeah
2020 bottle. Black with a dense light tan head that gradually fades to a cm. Coiled aroma with roast, singed caramel, mocha, berries. Creamy, only fullish bodied for 12% ABV. Sweet with chocolate and berries but that covers a bitter core of coffee, hard roast, spices and hops. That bitterness fades gradually to a point. Perhaps unusually for a hoppy US stout the hop aromatics are not juxtaposed with the rest of the beer. Delicious and harmonious but not very deep.
2009 bottle thanks to BuckeyeBoy. Still, flat black pour.Aroma is cherries, chocolate. Taste offers brown sugar notes, raisins. Sticky and sweet. And still good after 11 years.

Bottle @ UDRM, Oirschot. Deep dark brown color, almost opague. Caramel, butterscotch, cassis in the aroma. A fluid chocolate cake with caramel, creme de cacao and cappuccino flavors. Sugary finish with molasses an Tia Maria liquor. Sticky and alcoholic. Too sweet to be really great, but indeed a flavor bomb..
