100% BRETT FERMENTED.
Technically, this is neither an ale nor a lager. The base recipe is for a Golden Ale, but we do the primary fermentation with 100% brettanomyces. The brett gives it some sour notes but not as much as if it had been aged with lacto and pedio. It’s rather refreshing on a warm day!

Bottle from brewery. Finally getting around to this. Pale golden pour, small airy head fades quickly. Yeast, Brett aroma, mildly sweet. Taste is tart and sweet, and velvety smooth. Perfect example of the style.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy pale yellow. Aroma is citric, with an apple cidre touch. Body is light, with a dominant sourness, yet still in balance. Hints of vinegar. Palate continues the beauty. Very nice.
