Special release around mid-December ’09, winner of the FL homebrewer competition. Pours dark brown, off-white head with light golden lacing. aroma, malty and hoppy, some dark fruits, dark malts, mild yeasty nose. flavor, prominent dark fruits; prune, currant, dark sugar and roasted malts. As the beer warms up it gained a nice warming mouthfeel with some caramel notes. Yeast is noticeable as well as some spiced hops.
