Draught at the brewpub on January 20, 2014.Dark brown color, very small head. Sweet, nutty, light acidic scent. Sweet, light acidic taste. Acidic, a bit sweet aftertaste, also some raisins. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Tap @ brewpub Pours a deep murky brown with a thick off-white velvety head. Aroma is sour, vinegary, some light malt and tart fruits. Flavor, some lingering malt elements, fruity, sour; some cherries coupled with some apple/pear touch. Light prickly mouthfeel with wood elements. Vinegar in the finish with herbal/grassy hints. Warming abv and palate. Though not perfect, this one is highly drinkable and well executed for a small brewpub.
