Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Very dark brown to black with no head. Nose is heavy on iodine, peat, hugely medicinal with light malts & touch molasses in the back. Taste is dominated by boozy peat, iodine, almost salty, barrel has thin in the back you have some caramel, molasses, brown banana, pear, the base beer is there but thinned out & covered by the iodine, peat etc. Body is too thin and alcohol is too heavy and the peat is way too heavy, far from complimentary it destroys most other flavours in the beer. Still okay but considering how good the base beer is bit of a waste for me.
At Borefts 2015. Aroma of ripe fruit and bandaid. Taste is a battle between the soft fruits and caramel from the base beer and the aggresive peaty smoke of the barrel aging. Interesting and extreme, but harder to like I think.
Intensiv torfiger Antrunk, die Süße passt nicht wirklich dazu. Muffiger Nachhall. Naja... 10/11/7/7//9
Sehr dunkel braune Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch torfig, dunkles Malz, Karamell, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr torfig, Rauch, Kaffee, Holz, alkoholisch.
drank at Borefts 2015. Pours very dark, almost black. No head. Smell is peat. Taste is peat, but in a balanced way, still . Ok. I like that there still is a beer-tasting back of dark , sweet, roasted malts.
On tap at Borefts ’15. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma is very peated, earth, sweet, booze, light iodine, tar, dark fruits, malty. Flavour is sweet, wood, malts, dark fruits, earth, booze, whisky, peat, liquorice root, bitter finish. Full bodied. Good.

25/IX/15 - on tap @ Borefts 2015 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2015-1240) Thanks to Filip for sharing the beer!
Clear deep brown beer, no head. Aroma: peat, nothing else, very medicinal, yuck. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: peated, bit sweet, caramel, very peated and smoky. Aftertaste: same. Wow, what a disappointment. No complexity at all... :(
Tap at Borefts. Almost black with barely any head. Massive peat, smoke, sweet malts and chocolate, dry roasted grains and lots of fresh smoke. Very meaty, with some vanilla and lots of fresh wood. I’m usually not big on peaty beers but this is lovely balanced and works great with tee massive sweetness. Sweet with soft bitter finish. Over medium bodied with slick feel.
Tap at Borefts... Dark brown.. Thin tan lacing.. Dark whisky.. Soft whisky.. Rich smoke iodine roast
Draft - Dark caramel, toffee, charred oak and some peat. Jet brown with a light brown head. Lots of wood, toffee and a touch of peat. Nice.
