Aromas are black patent, molasses, roast, dark malt and cocoa. Flavors are similar but a little better than nose. It's on the sweet side but moderated. Roast comes out a little bit more and while leaning sweet is fairly balanced and drinkable. Curious to know what a 10 year old bottle would be like. Big beer.

Super smooth, slightly buttery, bourbon notes
Zoet, chocolade, flinke bourbon, heerlijk boozy, zacht, roasty, genieten.
Very dark ruby-brown pour with a tall, fine-grained tan headHuge bourbon up front, with additional toffee, coffee, subtle bitter cherries, vanilla, chocolate, quite a bit of bourbon-soaked oak. Soft texture, low carbonation, full body. Really nicely balanced, both in terms of tasting notes as well as mouthfeel and finish. Awesome stuff.
