Vintage 2011, bottled 09/2014. No gusher, just a slight puff. Smells balsamic oaky. Taste is slightly sour, but mostly so much oak. Some red wine, and quite a bit of fruity sweetness. Cherries, strawberries and some more balsamic down the throat. Lovely.
Bottle from Countbeer, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Caramel, red fruit and oak in the aroma. Hint of apple vinegar. Vanilla. Oak, vanilla, caramel, vinous notes and red fruit in the sour but complex flavor. Very well done!
Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; 29th July 2019. 33cl bottle, 2011 vintage; BB 15th Sep 2019. Brought by me, thanks me! Deep ruby body, lightly tanned head. Aroma of sour cherries and wood with some 'Maggi sauce' on the side. Taste also fairly sour/tart with a woody overtone.
Mega gushing. Ale o dziwo piwo nie zepsute, nieco octowe, rodzynki, ciemne owoce... jakas beczkowa slodycz... zdziwko
