0,5l bottle at home. BB 13. July 2025. black color, small very dark coffee colored head. smells of sherry, marzipan, light soy sauce, toffee, almost smoky, wood, booze, nutty. nice to very nice smell, rather oxidized. full body, light carbonation. tastes of bourbon, vanilla, nutty, toffee, marzipan, spices, cinnamon, some sweetness, hints of smoke, light dried fruits, figs, hints of chocolate, light berry notes, very very subtle oxidation notes, some booze. finishes bit boozy and bit sweet with notes of dried fruits, warming alcohol and nutty notes. drank rather warm, love the taste, lots going on, a tad too much alcohol (still), but overall this is great.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers, then dissipates. Cacao nib, vanilla, oak and bourbon aromas on the nose. A touch of dark fruit as it warms up. Balanced on the palate, some light oxidation at almost a year old now. More oak, bourbon and cacao nib on the palate. Some coffee and lingering toasted vanilla. Solid stuff.
