Simple IPA. Nothing special but not bad
Bottle. Amber color. Hints of caramel, grass and tropical fruit in the aroma. Grass, toffee hints of nutmeg, citrus and tropical fruit in the flavor. A little bit shy, but pleasant enough.
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn Groningen. Hazy amber with a white head. Hoppy malty aroma. Nice bitterness in the taste with a chalky undertone. Not a great IPA but still a nice beer regardsless of style.
Slow gushing to huge, stable, dense yellowish head over coldhazed orangeish golden beer. Sweetish, caramel, green leaves, bit of liquorice, hint @ lupuline. Bitter, resiny flavour on top of a dull malt base, partly coloured. Finish is again resing, but dull. Medium bodied, quite slick, spritzy carbonation. Rather average.
Bottle from my Secret santa, many thanks! Pours hazy amber with white, lasting head. Aroma and taste of biscuits, citrus, bread and caramel. Light metallic finish. Decent IPA, but nothing that stands out.
Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of malt, grain and yeast, meh. Flat taste of yeast ester, malt, grain and sweet grass. Where are the hops? This is more like a blonde ale. Way overcarbonated as well. Bad.
Bottle from Biernavigatie. Hazy amber, white foam. Grassy nose with fruity citrus flavour. Yeasty with dry bitter finish. Not the best balanced IPA.
Hazy medium amber colour, large frothy off-white head, good retention, light lacing. Bit shy aroma, pale malts, lime, light grapefruit, hay. Taste is mild medium sweet and bitter, light citrusy, bit toffee, with average duration. Mild dry bitter finish, light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent smooth and mild IPA.
From tap at Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft. No additional notes. Backlog from 2015/06/28.
Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 17 03 17, large sample. Slight hazy golden to orange color, medium rocky head. Aroma has slight fruity hop, bit spicy yeast, some caramel, tea. Medium bitterness, quite some caramel, bit cardboard and yeastiness. Bit metallic bad aftertaste. Malt dominates and I dont get a lot of hop. Getting better after a while though. Another typical example of a Dutch IPA.
