This high-octane version of Fundamental Observation saw systematic additions of dextrose to power up the brew’s fermentable sugars and help boost the ABV up to a 16.2% finish. After sixteen months of aging and concentrating on Tahitian vanilla beans in bourbon barrels, this beer makes its long-awaited debut as the Final Boss Stage for 2016’s T3 Passport Holders.

Backlog. MBCC 2018. Pours pitch black with a quickly disappearing brown head. Aromas of booze, dark chocolate, vanilla, fudge, tar. Taste has vanilla, fudge, milk chocolate, dark malts, booze, tary finish. Not sure why people are going mental about this one, although it was quite nice. Fundamental Summation is much better in my opinion.

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a very dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla bean, roasted malt, wood, bourbon. Thick, chewy, roast, intense vanilla, nice sweetness, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
