Timmermans Framboise is made by adding 100% natural raspberry flavouring to lambic. After a period of maturation in oak barrels, the beer turns a delicate shade of pink that is sure to delight you. Framboise Timmermans is a beer to be sampled with finesse and elegance.

Taste-wise… Faithfully reflects the colour and flavour of ripe raspberries, with no trace of the acidity of lambic. This wonderful flavour reaches its peak in its intensely fresh after-taste.

Raspberry and grassy aroma, slightly citric. Sweet flavor with citrus and raspberry. Thin and disappointing.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear medium red with a small, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of bready malt and raspberry. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy malt, raspberry, sugar and light vinegar with a dry, crisp, tart, acidic finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. One dimensional, but ok.

F: medium, bit off-pink, quick gone. C: red with coppery tones, almost clear. A: raspberry, red fruits, white sugar. T: raspberry juice, bit lemon, bit syrupy, grenadine, bit tart, not good example for the style at all, medium body and carbonation, 25cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

Shared bottle at Maakun’s, thanks! Almost clear orangey pink, with offwhite greyish head. Sweet raspberry lemonade syrup, strawberries aswell, cardboard, fruittea. Sugar sweet with light lambiccy sour ending. Near medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice for the candy sweet offerings. --- Beer merged from original tick of Framboise Lambicus on 18 Dec 2017 at 09:55 - Score: 6. Original review text: 2.9
