0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2019. light yellow hazy color, big white fizzy head. smells earthy, grassy, citric, cheesy, some oak, bit flowery. lovely smell. full body, pearly carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, funky, flowery, light berry notes, almost a tad sweet, noticeable malts, herbal, peppery. finishes bit dry and lightly sour with notes of cheese, citrus and grassy notes. very nice one, almost as much carbonation as the first one, taste wise its more heavy though, great potential to get there were the first one was.
Bottle from Deconinck. 2019 edition. Hazy bright orange, stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of unripe orange, mandarin zest, plum, wet straw, hay, leather, horseblanket, damp cellar, old wood, wet flowers, vague manure. Taste has sour mandarin, gooseberry, plum & green apple, edge of lemon acid, bit lactic; funky cheese; hay, straw & leather with a soft bittering effect kick in. 'Wet' grassy hops in the finish, yeasty & earthy, lingering woody tannins, funky fruit, lemon & lactic acid. Medium body, slick/oily texture, fizzy carbonation. A 'deluxe' Geuze with incredible richness.
Super clean, nose has a lot of green apple and funk
Except for a hint overcarbed this is really damn good. Perfectly balanced with pleasant fairly low acidity and suiting funk. Nice and lovely with the amazing seafood!

Clear orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very rural, hay, earthy, dry, bit grassy. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very nice acidity, fruity, funky, dry, bit lemony, more fruity, soft bitterness, lovely stuff! Aftertaste: spicy, soft acidity, little bitter, bit yeasty, green apples, lovely!
Bottle, 2018 edition. A lot of pressure in the bottle, foam gushing out. Color: Hazy orange amber, large but fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, funky, fruity, tart. Taste: Very smooth mouthfeel, nicely balanced moderate to over moderate tart and sweet, fruity notes of white grape and green apples, grapeskin and apple peel, lemon hints. Subtle peach hints. Wet hay. Oak wood. Quite funky, farmyard like, and quite some tannins, dry mouthfeel. Old hop, light to moderate bitterness. Wheat malt background. Very dry finish. Nice complexity. Medium body, low carbonation. Gooikoorts is on it's best after 7 years cellar, according to the label. I can believe that, but it's already great after 2 years.

Magus, mahe, mõrkjas, tammene, puuviljane, funky. Väga hea.
