Marking another collaboration with our friends at Goodnow Farms in Sudbury, we are proud to present Chocolate Goodness. For this special beer, we drew inspiration from rich European drinking chocolates. To match that soul lifting and indulgent experience unique to sharing mugs of these thick, chocolate forward elixirs, we conditioned Chocolate Goodness on over 500 pounds of Goodnow’s single origin cocoa powders sourced directly from farms in Latin and South America. This intense chocolate infusion created a rich extraction of color and aromatics. Pouring a dark chestnut brown with a khaki-mocha head, Chocolate Goodness announces itself with exhilarating aromas of Parisian-style chocolat chaud, dark chocolate bark, and luscious chocolate ganache. A sumptuous palate builds upon the nose revealing immersive flavors of chocolate mousse, dried dark berries, bright cacao nibs, and warm chocolate fondant. Full bodied with a faint chocolate bitterness, Chocolate Goodness has a silky mouthfeel and a mildly lingering sweetness that makes for a decadent and satisfying finish.
