Another huge tip of the cap to maltzilla for sharing this gem at the TOSPH. Dark brown pour with an off white head. Cola, sour cherry, and chocolate aromas. Insanely delicious Chocolate Cherry Stout with sour cherry, chocolate, and caramel notes. Diego, your the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ridiculously awesome bottle share at RBSG. Pours black. Tan head. Nose/taste of tons and tons of black cherries, bitter chocolate, dark cocoa and tannins. Light tartness. Low acidity. Full mouth feel.
One of the awesomely cool hookups from kramer @ BCTC’09. Poured with a large chocolate head atop a black body. Aroma is very lactic cocoa, dark chocolate, even some light vanilla, and a musky-milk. Flavor is spiky acetic over the dark malts (light roast and cocoa). Cherry comes through in the acetic aftertaste. Green apple skins mixed in there as well. Pretty good sour stout,. they are hard to make, the roast is not strong, which I like.
