Shared at a tasting by Mike. Pours with a very pale head with a black body. Aroma is unsweet thick and fumey, very much like the original. Some hints of booze but rightly placed. Same in flavor. I may have not known this was a barrel aged beer without the label. Its not sweet, its not acidic, its not boozy, its not so many things that are bad about big barrel aged beers.
Etched glass bottle at Meet and Greet - RBSG St. Louis. Pours black with tan head. Nose/taste of bourbon, chocolate, dark fruit and sweet plum. Medium body.
Bottle - Pecan, butter, caramel and hazelnut. Jet black with a brown head. Bourbon, chocolate and lots of barrel notes.
