Draft at Baileys. Pours brown with no head. Nose/taste of earth and cheap chocolate. Medium body.
On tap @ the Bridge with Homer321, jcnielsen, and brokensail. Pours a hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Twangy, red fruity, cinnamon nose. Slightly tart flavor which does show the chocolate but the beer just tastes fucken weird and fruity.
Draft - Light toasted malt and cherry. Dirty brown with no head. Toast malts, light chocolate and a nutty finish. Thin and not good.
Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 4/12/13
Aroma: The nose, as anyone would guess, it full of chocolate, and it has some roasted hints too
Appearance: This beer pours an amber-brown color with a beige head and some light lace
Flavor: Tastes extremely sweet, the chocolate sweetness dominates, the roast is minimal
Palate: This one has a smooth creamy feel to, and it doesn't really have a beer-like mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is pretty much a chocolate drink masquerading as a beer. It's interesting, and I think it would make for a nice dessert drink, but it is way too sweet for me to drink more than a couple ounces of or drink regularly.
