33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Brown with a thin off-white head. Plum and dark caramel malts aroma. Sweet taste with a bittersweet finish. Nice, not too spicy, winter beer.
Bottle. Dark brown color. malt and nutmeg in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty spicy flavor. Anis. Hint of butter. Decent.

Bottle in the train shared by sjogro. No glass, straight from the bottle. Very lively beer! Lots of sweet malts, plums, sugar, light yeast, caramel, toffee, soft herbs. Very sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied with fizzy carbonation. Like plum juice almost. Not bad but very sweet and alcoholic.
On tap at the brewpub. Thick creamy off white head. Clear amber pour. Nice and drink able winter beer.
Draft at the brewpub. Pours cloudy dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of malts, dark fruit, caramel, raisins. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Cloudy hazy orange color, small white head. Smell sweetness and sugar. Taste flat, dull, sugar, sweetness. Low carbonation, low body.
