Growler. 10K share. Pours gold white head. nose/taste of citrus, cracker malt, woody pine. Medium body.
75CL Growler filled @ Hill Farmstead last week. Split 2 ways @ 35F and allowed to warm. I gave my 2nd fill to AFH and it looks like he already shared it with some Southern NH raters! Enjoyed in HF stemware.
A - Very deep orange color, 2 finger solid white head with very tiny bubbles.
S - bread-like, citrus, orange skin, a touch of pine and a nice floral earthy note as well.
T - Pine and Resin forward. Citrus is only at the middle and finish. Dense taste, with a really intense finish. if you love Cascade hops, you’re going to love this one!
M - Classic Hill mouthfeel, mineral water, sparkling soda water and a long hop bitterness finish.
O - This is certainly tasting like the most west-coast IPA Shaun has brewed to date. Certainly the most resinous and pine forward.
