16 February 2020. At In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Pours clear red with a very thin, pinkish head. Aroma of blackcurrant, blueberry juice, lemon peel, sour cherry, plum. Taste has sour cassis, cherry & redcurrant, some lemon acid, a bit wheaty, sweetish jam-like undercurrent. Tart, fruity & slightly funky finish, low hoppiness, more cassis until the very end. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rather straightforward but intense.
So underrated.
Nieuwe autoband, zuur, fris, lekker!
8,5 for the bottle with new label cassis lambic I drank at tour de geuze 2019, I had bottle experimental cassis in previous years.
Bottle. Pours hazy dark red with a small fizzy pink head. Notes of heavy vinegar, bandaid, cassis, raspberries, funk.
Bottle at Grote Dorst, tragically with a hangover. Red amber colour, no head. Aroma is weird, sugar puffs, wheat, bit stinky. Taste is nice, lots of fruit, sour, coats the teeth.
Botella del @Señor Lúpulo. Despacho de cervezas, Gijón 11/11/2018
Color rojizo corona de espuma blanca escasa, aromas intensos a fruta, sabor ácido con notas frutales, notas sedosas rica
0.375 l bottle from 'Saveur Bière', bottled in April 2016, cellared for two years. Slightly hazy, deep ruby, no head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite funky and rather fruity aroma of blackcurrant, lemon, horse blanket and some red grapes. Slightly sweet, quite sour, rather fruity and slightly funky taste of blackcurrant, lemon, vinegar, red grapes, some oak and a touch of horse blanket, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, moderately dry, slightly woody and a bit vinous finish. Thin to medium body, almost oily mouthfeel, flat. Again too acidic, hardly enjoyable, still drinkable but only in small quantities.
