In late summer 2018, we maccerated the skins of our white grape varieties ( Cabernet Blanc, Cal 6 04 and Gewürztraminer ) in a beer brewed 7 months earlier. After 1 month of this white skin maceration ( a technique defining orange / amber winemaking ), we took out the skins, and aged the beer further for 7 more months.

Drinking recommendation : from now till 2022/2023... Don't serve it too col; ideally between 12 and 14°c . it may benefit from opening a little in advance, so it can breath and aromatically open up. Or you could carafage this one.

11 September 2021. At Summer Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks, Klaas & Liesbeth, cheers to the whole crew!

Hazy yellow, quickly thinning white head. Aroma of sour grape, white wine, gooseberry, funky lemon, wet hay. Taste has sour grape, gooseberry & kiwi, funky hay over a grassy bitter, very bretty middle. Tart, acidic, funky finish, lingering lemon & bitter grape skins. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very 'noble' character, nice.

Bottle @ Belgian Summer Gathering Sept' 21, Evergem. Merci Dylan.
Bottled 04/20/2019.
Dorée-ambre oscillant vers l'orange, pâle, col fin blanc.

Cloudy peach orange coloured beer, practically no head. Aroma: spicy, peppery, funky, fruity, apples, apple skin, woody touch, tannins? MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, spicy, herbal, sourish, funky, lambic notes, very woody, quite some tannins. Aftertaste: dry, lots of apples, funky, nice acidity, fruity, good stuff!

Bottle @ home. Hazy golden colour, white foam disappears quickly. Complex, vinous, grapes, some citrus, grassiness and oak. Well balanced, funky, not too tart. Nice.

Hapu, valge vein, viinamarjad, kuivus, nats hapet, puuviljane, funk. Lõpus on taimset mõrudust. Hea, aga veits liiga veini poole.

Pours unclear yellow. No real head. Smell is like a very refined saison. No real fruityness to me. Taste is slightly tart, mild bitterness. Hay, phenols, malty. Complex and refined. bit funk. Medium high carbo ( suiting the beer ) and medium body. Grapes are hidden.

Soczek winogronowy z cierpkoscia, lekka goryczka nawet, do tego znow sianowata dzikosc nieagresywna. Nie jest wytrawny. Pyszka
