BXL ‘19. Hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma is wonderfully oxidized, oak, citrus notes and dry cellar funk. Flavour is moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma shows of the Vin Juane beautifully with wonderful oxidized cherry notes, toffee and oak along with a lovely dry funk, cobwebs and vinous notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and sour, much more sweetness than I'd expect in a geuze, but balancing perfectly in this one. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Stunning and absolutely worth the wait! --- Beer merged from original tick of Vin Jaune on 17 Aug 2021 at 14:17
750 ml bottle at Moeder Lambic Original, during Zwanze 2018 weekend. Hazy orange color with white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, nutty, toasted bread, vinous, tart fruity, citrus and stone fruits, grapes, wood, funk barnyard. Sweet and acidic taste like aroma but even more intense. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vin Jaune on 17 Aug 2021 at 14:17
