37,5cl bottle (vintage 2019) from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou. F: no real, some bubbles. C: shiny gold, hazy. A: nice sour fruity, bit brett, woody, funky, old lemon. T: sour fruity, woody, nice soft old hops, lemon, funky, bit puckering yet not very sour, bready touch, no carbonation, very nice for the style, fully enjoyed.
Difficult cork, pours dark yellow, as flat as Flevoland. Smells dry, soft oaky, light funk, no sour. Flat mouthfeel, soft. Taste is loads of oak, good bit of barn-y funk and just the tiniest hint of a memory of sourness. Amazingly complex, rich, so soft.
Not 100% sure this is the 2015 as something ate most of the label, hahaha. Lots if deep funk and wood, grainy, apricots. Fruit wood funk. Nice.
7 years old... Real vintage and fruity flavors. Really nice.
0.75 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Arendonk), 2016 vintage, cellared for almost four years. Almost clear, deep amber with a thin, fluffy, almost stable, white head. Sourish, rather fruity and gently funky aroma of old lemon, tonic water, gooseberry, horse blanket and wood. Minimally sweet, gently sour, quite fruity and slightly funky taste of old lemon, oak, grapefruit, leather and horse blanket, followed by a short, gently tart, quite funky, fairly woody-dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently astringent and minimally effervescent mouthfeel, almost flat. Rather mellow but nicely fruity and funky lambic, highly sessionable as well.
