Bottle. Lightly hazy golden, offwhite foam. Grassy grape tart nose. Medium body, chewy dry, light earthy grapeskin, mellow tartness, bitter herbs. Pleasant, easy to drink.
Podobny do geuze niejednego, gdyby nie to, ze ma jakas falszywa nute hmmm... korkowo-piwniczna? W sumie tak pycha. Czuc beczke ale w sensie drewnianotanicznym w tle
Funky & fruity, old barrel, soft sweetness, apple, earth;taste follow, super dry, light astringency, soft tartness, wood, tannins
Bottle shared @ Mikkeller Bar Aarhus. Pours hazy orange with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is funky, leather, oaky, moldy, lots of sweet grapes, dessert whine, gooseberries, sweet apples. Taste is citrussy, sweet grapes, gooseberries, funky, light lactic, moldy. Nice!
Bottle at Gainsbar. Pale blond, white head. Aroma of solvents, gaffer tape, grapefruit, lychee. Taste is great, spritzy, lemon sherbert, not so much sourness, light mustiness and funk. Great stuff.
Corked bottle. Light amber color, hazy. lemon, grapefruti, oak and leather in the bretty aroma. Sour flavor, oaky with lemon. Dusty with some flowery hops. Plums and leather. Lambic dominates the character of this beer. Leathery vinous aftertaste with a considerable dry out effect. Excellent!
Bottle, bottled november 2016. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Sourish, fruity, some funk and some hop. Taste: Pretty complex mix of moderate to medium sweet and sour and moderate hopbitter flavours. Refreshing. Fruity with hints of grapes, citrus, apple and lightly peach. Wild yeast funk notes. Light wood notes. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Less tart and somewhat more hoppy than the Gueuzes I know. Pretty short finish, but that's ok. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Another very nice beer from De Ranke.
