Can: Poured a black brown with a tan head. Aroma was stale hops, malts some roast. Taste was little off to me with hops grassiness, roast and veggie.

Canned 04.05.18. Not the best BIPA, but certainly not the worst. Very hoppy, lots of pine, but could do with some more malty body and roast for me. Fairly sweet, decent bitterness. Oh, and Bam-ba-lam.

Can. Sweaty pineapple, citrus, light metallic, pine, light roast aroma. Black, tanned foam. Medium body, a bit dank sticky sweetness, grassy, sweat, light hop burn, roast, dank and perfumed retronasal. Dry finish with a bit hop plaque.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja and Marko. Dark brown to black, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hoppy, intense. Herbal candy, light liquorice. Nicely balanced with roasty. Light to medium bitterness. Smooth texture, slightly reminding of herbal liquor, but with moderate alcohol, of course. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Very nice.

Tap at Fakin. Very dark brown, almost black, small white head. Dark malts, blueberry, resin, soft, sweetish, well balanced between hoppiness and maltiness. Soft taste, mild roast, peppery herbal touches, piney, blueberry, ending dry. Nearly perfect harmony. Solid bitterness. Excellent BIPA!!!

666th rating for the beer, seems oddly fitting. On tap at Galbraith’s. Pours black. Toast, charcoal dust, blackberry, orange peel, something quite floral, little grapefruit pith, some raspberry stuff, some chocolate. Homemade jam on cremated toast. Delightful.

06-05-17 // can at Naiv Frankfurt. Pours a deep black beer with nice beige head. Nose is hoppy, some sweet malts and coffee. Roasted malts in the beginning, mild coffee, followed by a great bitterness. Great Black IPA!
