Tap @ BBF 2011. Brown color. Good mix of roast and caramel in both aroma and flavor.
Bottle from a Prague bottle shop. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is nutty malt, light yeast, light medicinal. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, watery, malt, mineral, liqourice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Dünner röstig-malziger Antrunk. Wässriger Mittelteil, das Malz ist weiterhin eher dünn. Süffig, zum Ende fester und nett, insgesamt aber zu mild. 10/9/7/11/8/8
Bottle from Bottle Park, Bratislava. Dark brown color with thick off-white head. Dark chocolate, roasted malt in aroma.Taste, roasted coffee, dark malt, dark chocolate, yeast, very light hoppy bitterness in background. Good.
50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Kiellandsplass, Oslo. Pours hazy dark brown with a small, tan head. Mild malty aroma with some roasty notes, caramel, dark fruits and hints of fruits and Belgian yeast. Medium sweet with pleasant, but quite mild flavours. Some bitterness in the finish. Nothing wrong, but a bit anonymous. Pretty sure it would work well to food.
Litt generisk og slett ikke så 'belgisk' som jeg hadde forestilt meg - eller er et bare forkjølelsen min som spiller meg et puss.
Bottle. Murky brown color, medium off white head. Aroma of lightly spiced caramel. Taste is brown bread and light spice OK.
