Keg at Craft Islington. Big aroma of apple, actually, apple fritters. Bit boozy. Saison yeasty too. Taste is initially lots of apple, but further down moved towards the boozy and typical US saison type things. Initially very nice but gets swamped by boozy not-so-excitingness and the interesting apple element is squashed. Maybe I had a bit of beer fatigue at this stage.
Lata de @Zombier, Online 09/02/2017 Color amarillo oscuro, sabor frutal, citrico notas levadura.
330ml can. Pours clear golden with a small white head quickly dissipating. Aroma is appley, sour, yeast, spices. Taste: sour, yeasty, wheaty, apple, spices, barnyard. Medium body.
Can at Bishops Vasagatan. Slightly hazy golden pour with faint white head. Aroma of apple, light funk, caramel and yeast. Similar taste. A little bit on the sweeter side with a slightly dry, oaky finish.
Bottle kindly shared by Kazator, many thanks. Orange color with medium white head. Aroma of apples, yeast, Taste, apples, vinous notes, clove, light vanilla, other spices. Good.
660ml bottle. Pours hazy amber with frothy white head. Delicate saison / belgian tripel character with a welcoming bramley apple influence. An excellent take on the style.
Tap @TCBW15. Golden colored, thick white head. Funky on the nose, apples, pear, citrus. Flavor has green apples, citrus notes and yeast. Quite a brew. Refreshing. Abv nicely hidden
From tap at ACBF. Thick, frothy, cream white head, misty yellow blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue. Lots of apple, malic acid and cider, pineapple and other sweet fruits, very fruity onset, honeyish touch in the mouth, sour and sweet like a cider, dryishly sourish finish with lots of fruit lingering; a bit one-sided though, and not quite delivering as a ’saison’.
