375ml wired cork bottle. Opened with a pop. Slightly hazy golden colour, white foam head that dissipates, and aroma of woody funk, plum, citric, lemon rind. Taste is tart, sour, funky, citric rind, plum, barnyard, straw, dried fruity. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry funky citric sour finish. Very drinkable.
Bottle at home, 6 years old. Bit hazy golden with small white head. Lots of nice prunes, sour wheat, funk, quute grassy, a touch of sherry. Medium sour, light sweet and quite light bitter. Medium bodied with soft sparkly carbonation. This aged beautifully, way better than the 14-15 Prunes de Namur I had last week.

375ml bottle in the fading afternoon sun in the midst of the Coronavirus lockdown. Opaque peachy purple pink appearance, aroma is lovely farmyard funk, breezy lambic sour, light fruit. Taste bears a good sour tang that latches onto the tart, sharp plummy fruit nicely. Underlying woody notes. Great stuff.
And another Quetsche. Two years older than the one before. Less carbo. Almost flat. Very dry. Didnt age that well.
Quetsche works always!
